Branches of Government SMART Notebook Project


Your job is to create a SMART Notebook presentation that shows your understanding of the branches of our federal government. You may use information from worksheets, textbook, websites listed in resource section, etc. 


  1. 1.Start Notebook and open a new presentation


2. Include in your presentation the following:

    a. Slide #1           Title page (Include a graphic.  Must also have your name and an original title)

    b. Slides #2-3      Executive Branch (include at least 3-4 facts and 1 graphic on each slide)

    c. Slides #4-5      Legislative Branch (include at least 3-4 facts and 1 graphic on each slide)

  1. d. Slides #6-7     Judicial Branch (include at least 3-4 facts and 1 graphic on each slide)

  2. e. Slide #8          Checks and Balances (include how each branch connects to the others and one graphic)

  3. f.  Slides #9-10    Free Slides (these two slides will be used for extra information)

  4. g. Slide #11         Credits (list any websites or other credit on this page)


  6. 3.Save project in your folder.


  8. 4.Edit your presentation for spelling, and grammar.  Review the project rubric to see that you have met expectations.
